{"id":1471,"date":"2021-02-12T13:04:48","date_gmt":"2021-02-12T12:04:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/szzccmv.cluster031.hosting.ovh.net\/?p=1471"},"modified":"2021-10-26T18:03:55","modified_gmt":"2021-10-26T16:03:55","slug":"re-nfq-innovation-department","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/n.world\/en\/re-nfq-innovation-department\/","title":{"rendered":"RE[*], Nfq Innovation Department"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Since Nfq was born, our innovation and technical capacity have been a differential part of our value proposition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technology has become a decisive factor in financial markets in the last years as a provision of service as well as a configuration of the company\u2019s proposal.<\/p>\n<h2>Innovation from deep business knowledge<\/h2>\n<p>At <strong>Nfq<\/strong>, we don\u2019t believe in innovation for itself:<strong> all our initiatives in this area are linked to business application.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h6>We aren\u2019t different only because we\u2019ve a deep knowledge of new technologies. <strong>We are different for our capacity to bring this knowledge into products and thus giving real value to our customers.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Examples of the practical application of knowledge products and real services are collaborations with<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uc3m.es\/Inicio\"><strong> Universidad Carlos III<\/strong><\/a> in a <a href=\"https:\/\/nfq.es\/en\/re\/collaboration-carlos-iii-cdti\/\"><em><strong>Supercomputation<\/strong><\/em> <strong><em>project<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. Or our partnership with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.upm.es\/\"><strong>Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid<\/strong><\/a> in the use-cases development about <a href=\"https:\/\/nfq.es\/en\/re\/smart-contracts-project\/\"><strong><em>BlockChain<\/em><\/strong> applied to building the <strong><em>Smart Contracts<\/em> <\/strong><\/a>for financial companies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Development of our solutions is part of this differential vision<\/strong>. For example, <a href=\"https:\/\/nfq.es\/en\/re\/reputational-risk-management\/\"><strong>QDos<\/strong><\/a> is a reputational risk measurement tool for financial entities which combine machine learning use with the social media information.<\/p>\n<h2>Open Innovation<\/h2>\n<p>At the same time, at <strong>Nfq<\/strong> we firmly believe that <strong>innovation, knowledge and its business application only make sense in a decentralised, open and collaborative model<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is the main reason why <strong>we are collaborating with many start-up development projects like <a href=\"https:\/\/nfq.es\/en\/re\/startup-grind-asturias\/\">StartUp Grind<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tetuanvalley.com\/\">Tetuan Valley<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Study Areas<\/h2>\n<p>In <strong>RE[*]<\/strong>, we are investigating and analysing the main areas that will transform the financial world full customer interaction flow.<\/p>\n<p>Our innovation department is organised into 6 areas.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Big Data, Information provision<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Storage, management, and analysis of large volumes of data<\/strong> that cannot be treated conventionally, since they exceed the limits and capabilities of software tools usually employed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Data science, information analysis<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Knowledge acquisition through exploration and exploitation of data sets by applying techniques and developing theories of <strong>multiple scientific fields<\/strong>. All this, with the aim of <strong>structuring data sets and optimally preparing them for the analysis phase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Artificial Intelligence, Automated decision making<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> and <strong>Machine Learning (ML)<\/strong> include technologies such as <a href=\"http:\/\/deeplearning.net\"><em><strong>Deep Learning<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/news.mit.edu\/2017\/explained-neural-networks-deep-learning-0414\"><strong><em>neural networks<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/monkeylearn.com\/blog\/definitive-guide-natural-language-processing\/\"><strong><em>Natural Processing Language (NPL)<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. It may also encompass more advanced systems that understand, learn, predict, adapt and potentially operate autonomously.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Distributed Ledger. Registration and information computations<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The goal of this work group is to attain an appropriate understanding of each of the functionalities behind <strong>distributed account books<\/strong>. Also, to achieve the capability of developing solutions for <strong>auditory, chronology, intermediation <\/strong>and<strong> notarizing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Digital Banking and Startup, consumer interaction<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The starting point would be the <strong>Fintech<\/strong>, i.e., <strong>start-ups expert in new technologies offering financial services<\/strong>. It is about exploring the new ways of creating applications for the communication of customer\u2019s information.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Architecture and Paradigms, the support of all operations<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Creation of <strong>self-contained components that can be reused<\/strong> (that can be called multiple times by different applications). It is applied in the building of distributed systems.
