On 16 July, more than 600 of us from NFQ Spain gathered at Casa de Mónico to celebrate our now-traditional Summer Party… with the World Cup taking centre stage! There were national team shirts from all over the world, personalised face painting and a real desire to celebrate.

The afternoon was packed with activities to suit all tastes: an official table football tournament with 32 pairs battling it out for the title, followed by open tables for anyone fancying a rematch!; darts at ‘Where’s Curaçao?’, where participants’ geographical knowledge – as well as their aim – was put to the test; penalty shoot-outs against a spinning goalkeeper who certainly didn’t make things easy; the wheel of fortune handing out prizes; and the big ‘Paul the Octopus’ betting game, where we all placed bets on how the videos would end. Each win earned N points to redeem for gifts.

And, as we do every summer, the party was also the perfect opportunity to recognise the 260 colleagues who are taking on new responsibilities within the organisation this year. Congratulations to you all!
Because at NFQ, we’re in no doubt: people are, and always will be, the driving force behind change.
We work together, we grow together.
